Ottawa-Based Airline Gains a Single System for Authoring and Compliance Management

Beloit, WI, USA – March 5, 2020 – Aviation software leader Comply365 is pleased to welcome Canadian North to its customer base with a multiyear contract that will transform the operational information flight crew members must access into “smart manuals” and improve the airline’s compliance management system.

Canadian NorthComply365’s ProAuthor, an end-to-end operational content and compliance management system, will replace multiple disparate systems at the Ottawa, Canada-based airline while delivering more personalized and relevant content to their pilots, flight attendants, and maintenance technicians.

Using ProAuthor, more than 400 employees in the Flight Operations, Inflight and Maintenance departments at Canadian North now will receive smart manuals on their tablets that reduce the data required to download updates, which was especially important because of the limited connectivity in the remote areas the airline serves.

Etihad Airways The First Middle Eastern Airline To Choose Comply365 Platform To Host Technical Documents

Beloit, WI, USA – Jan. 14, 2020 – Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has become the first airline in the Middle East to introduce Comply365, a new state-of-the-art technology platform to host the extensive technical documentation of its Flight Operations Department, including flight operations manuals.

More than 6,000 employees will benefit from the replacement of multiple existing documentation systems with Comply365’s single ProAuthor platform, which will be used to manage and distribute company manuals and documentation from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), making compliance-related documentation and tracking much easier.

Comply365 expands to South Korea with its newest client

Beloit, WI, USA – Aviation software leader Comply365 continues its global expansion with its first South Korean client, Aero K Airlines. Comply365 to Transform Manual Authoring for Leading European Low-Cost Carrier

Beloit, WI – May 15, 2019 – Wizz Air, one of Europe’s fastest growing airlines, is transforming its content manual authoring process for both company and operating manuals with Comply365’s end-to-end content management and distribution platform.

As the leading low-cost carrier in Central and Eastern Europe, Wizz Air needed an innovative way to speed up its documentation process to support its rapid growth plans. Wizz Air operates one of the youngest aircraft fleets in the world with its Airbus A320 and A321s.

They fly under two AOCs (Air Operator Certificates): Wizz Air Hungary, based in Budapest, and Wizz Air UK, based in London Luton. Since both airlines share the same aircraft types, significant portions of content of their flight operating manuals could be sourced once and then shared for efficiency.

Wizz Air transported 34 million passengers in 2018, a 20-percent jump from the previous year. It operates a fleet of more than 100 aircraft across 25 bases in Europe.

Comply365’s authoring system can repopulate effectivity statements from manual authoring in existing, identical aircraft manuals, allowing Wizz Air to create manuals for aircraft before they are delivered.

“This was a very time-consuming process that we had to do manually, so we’re really looking forward to publishing manuals much faster, more efficiently and accurately,” Holm said. “Comply365’s editor also makes it relatively simple for anyone to author OEM or company manuals in XML compared to other systems that require a degree of XML knowledge.”
